This scarf is hand painted in the art of Batik, I painted the flower outling with hot wax this allows me to paint in lots of colour into each flower and add a light wash background I paint it in a similar fashion to water colour paintings adding lots of water to blend the colours.
With this scarf I followed the blue violet colours of the Viola flower adding yellows,pinks and purples in sections to add a little depth I found this scarf alot of fun to do and I do hope you like it.
