The design is done in the art of batik an ancient craft that uses hot wax to create images on fabric adding fine lines and textures throughout, the wax acts as a resist that blocks the dyes going into certain areas. In the end the wax is removed and the scarf is washed and Irond dry leaving a beautiful silky smooth finish.
