Day one
Get a demonstration in the art of silk painting from the basics of tie dyeing to shibori techniques and learn how to use these in silk painting.
You we will prepare a silk scarf using these techniques
You will design and prepare a frame of silk cards and bookmarks using the gutta resist technique
All the prepared pieces will be left over night to dry.
Day two
Will be spent having fun with colour and finishing all the pieces
Adding a gutta design and painting your prepared scarf
Adding paint and finishing your cards and bookmarks
Take home your hand painted silk scarf and a number of hand painted cards and bookmarks
Time 5 hours approx
