This silk scarf is hand painted in Ireland by Louise Loughman a subtle wax drawing of the popular Goldfinch in shades of gold ochre, yellow, scarlet red, pale pink, charcoal and deep maroon and brown to add a bit of earthyness to this scarf lots of grainy textures where the dyes blend together reminisent of the hedgerows and foliage.
The goldfinch fades into the background of vibrant colours giving the scarf an abstract feel.
Because each scarf is hand painted I will do the same design and use the same colours but there will always be slight variations in each scarf
