This scarf is a lovely light weight silk so soft and silky and beautiful to wear.
Hand painted by Louise in the ancient art of batik she uses hot wax to draw the spiral design inspired by the Celtic art found on the entrance stone at Newgrange,
Newgrange is on of Ireland and the worlds oldest heritage sights
Once the wax is added Louise paints the colours using silk dyes the colours move and flow through the spirals creating beautiful blends of colour and texture throughout the scarf
After some time the scarf will be dry the wax will be removed and each scarf is hand washed and Ironed to reveal the full depth and vibrancee of the scarf
